Grassroots 2017 is a Coach Training to find a coach and at the same time look for players who will be selected to represent Bali in Leauge of Change 2017. League of Change itself is a football league to find the best players from all over Indonesia who will represent the Indonesian national team to follow the Homeless World Cup 2017 to be held in Oslo Norway.
This year the Health Foundation of Bali (Yakeba) has the opportunity to host a candidate for trainers and players who will depart to the League of Change 2017 in Surabaya from 30 April to 3 May 2017.
Grassroots 2017 is participated by people with HIV AIDS (ODHA), urban poor children, drug users community, and other marginal groups. The Yakeba team gathers people from the community who have the potential to become coaches in the League of Change 2017.
After getting the trainer candidate as many as 18 people, the trainer candidate get the training of trainers imported from Rumah Cemara.
The training organized by Rumah Cemara is held on 20 to 21 April 2017 at Wing’s Futsal Denpasar. Before heading to Wing’s futsal, the team from Rumah Cemara, represented by Ecko Sutiadi Sudayat, first introduced what was the League of Change game to all the candidates. Because the League of Change match is a street soccer match that is different from ordinary futsal matches.
In this training it is hoped that the selected trainers will not give the burden of stress to the players who will be dispatched to League of Change 2017 in Surabaya. In essence the team from Rumah Cemara gives directions how to play street soccer by scoring as many points as possible in the shortest possible time.
Until now the team from Rumah Cemara still chose and has not announced who the candidates are elected to be coached to train players representing Bali in the League of Change 2017. Hopefully in this League of Change 2017 Indonesia can reduce stigma against people with HIV AIDS and people who Marginalized.
