Denpasar, Bali Tribune – Coinciding the anniversary of hepatitis worldwide, the mass wore black came to BBPOM office (Center for Food and Drug Administration) in Denpasar, Bali, on Tuesday (28/07/2015).
On behalf of IKON (the Association of Victims of Drug) and Yakeba (Bali Health Foundation), they seemed eager to deliver the aspirations in the yard of BBPOM regardless of the heat of the sun.
“This is the peaceful movement to push the government which is represented by BBPOM to immediately register a hepatitis C drug the most affordable to the distribution license. Since the drug that has been available in the market is not affordable,” said Patrician, coordinator of the action – voicing their aspirations in Denpasar BBPOM Office.
Responding to these aspirations, Head of Inspection and Investigation BBPOM (Center for Food and Drug Administration) in Denpasar, Eka Ratnata explained the authorities for drug distribution license is indeed a central BBPOM authority.
“We will help and what will drive BBPOM are enforceable to the center so that the drug registration process can be accelerated,” he explained.
